Rescue, Treatment, and Family Reunification Our team rescued a young homeless woman from Delhi Gate, Lahore, who had been living on the streets for nearly 12 years. She was found in a vulnerable condition, wearing multiple layers of winter clothing despite the summer heat. Several metal rings had become embedded in her fingers, causing severe damage to three fingers, while heavy metal bangles on her arms posed a serious risk of further injury. We arranged immediate medical treatment to safely remove the rings and bangles and provide the care she urgently needed. With the support of our female volunteers, she received personal hygiene care, clean clothes, and new shoes. After sharing her story online, we successfully traced her family and reunited her with her loved ones after many years. This rescue restored her dignity, improved her health, and gave her a new beginning.
